Monday evening a big celebration. Patti has her birthday in Italy

A whole lazy day capped off with a birthday festa and with two of our group who would rather cook than anything John Keir and I have a great life.  So for her birthday she wants to cook in her Italian kitchen but we slightly over rule her and Jon and I make pizza.

Jon made the dough from scratch despite the fact it is easily available pre-made and it was a huge success. Yea!

I don't know why this wash of gold salutes the sundown every night but it is ours to savor.
