Singapore

Friday night is an art show in an old black and white colonial home. The artist is a friend of a Kent and Susan's. Most of the attendees are from the expat community. This fascinating band of people who live, raise families and build careers all far from wherever they called home. Kent and Susan have a net of friends flung across the globe. There are few places that they visit that they don't have local contacts. All adventuring souls.

Our hosts Cousin Kent and Susan.

Last night was a trip to the French Stall. In the Little India section of Singapore, sitting in the moist hot night air, we are served fantastic French food. Rich chocolate soufflé, duck confit, poached salmon. It feels like Asia but eats like Paris. Singapore is a fascinating melting pot country.
It was also time to check in with family so we had skype and FaceTime with everyone and at one time Richard, in DC on my iPad was showing Kari in Lubbock on uncle Kent's iPad, his missing tooth. Technology is great.
Sunday night at the marina bay towers.

I have been wanting to try this. Little fish exfoliate your feet. It is a really odd feeling. It is called a fish spa pedicure.  The results are great.

Dinner and drinks on top of the Marina Bay.
